Tunks terrible LED light build.

I'm getting this thread started prematurely coz fucked if I know when I'll have spare cash to purchase everything but I will put up my small shopping list so far and any thoughts or advice may steer me in the right direction before I spend money.

 

So here's where I'm heading at the moment. I think this is what I'm after...

 

 

1 x meanwell 320w dimmable power supply

 

 

4 x Samsung F series 3500K LED strips

 

= $265

 

Plus some aluminium U channel from Bunnings and heat conductive double sided tape.

 

Should cover 1 x 1m easily, but this is all from speaking with someone more knowledgeable then I...

 

Anyone out there with more wisdom about this kinda shit? Would love all the help I can get.

Thanks Indy. As I said, I got no clue. Only just started researching and it hurt my head, but the guy who is helping me is legit so hopefully I can "pull it off"
