no need to remove a plant from a small fabric geopot 

transplant the whole pot , i did this last year & also

emailed geopot to ask if there would be any leaching once the pot was buried 

the answer was no , go ahead , they mentioned a fabric pot they have that is

meant to do exactly that , has a life span of 2 or 3 months 

B4 it falls apart , completely breaks down in soil
