NEED HELP WITH SCROG TRAINING & TURNING

Hi all,

I am currently growing a Northern Girl in a bubbler scrog with a 250w hps.

My screen is filling nicely & Im stretching her out & trying to put the larger growing tips on the edges so they wont block the light to other buds when I switch to flower.

 

I have read that you should switch when about 1/3 - 1/2 of the screen is filled.

Does this mean a growing tip in at least 1/3 of the available holes??

 

Or does it mean just canopy filling the screen??

 

Im confused!!

If you fill every hole , your bed of bud is going to be so tight that no light is going to get to the base of each bud anyway (just my opinion). I like to leave a one hole gap around each one that I fill .
