Don't flush at 7.0 , adjust your water to around 5.8 now keep flushing to the runoff is 5.8

If you don't have a lid on res the ph will go down as water evaporates thus making the concentration of nutes slightly stronger thus the higher ec reading

When u check runoff for ph n ec u will know what to do next

Natural fluctuations are a good thing as long as u keep it 5.8 to 6.2

This is the range that all available nutes can be absorbed

If u keep it 6.0 in hydro will miss out on the nutes absorbed between 5.8 n 5.9 leading to deficiency

Coco is neutral 7.0

If growing in soil u don't have to adjust ph as the soil acts as a natural buffer, dolomite lime is used to make it a little acidic, soil should be around 6.8 on it's own
