Looking for a Australian nutrient that is ph perfect like advanced nut

Recommended Posts

Are those Reservoir ph measurements? Take a sample from the runoff of each plant. That is the ph at the root zone. Is that way low too? Dropped in ph straight away? If so, here's the remedy -

Totally empty any drain tray or similar at bottom of pots which may have old nutrient settled in the bottom. Even rinse out with a hose. Take a few litres of fresh water ph adj to 7.0 and flush it over the plant from the top of pot. Don't use feeding lines. Gather that runoff which will be your 7.0 water. If ph is below 6.0 ( bet it's way lower) You need to flush thoroughly. If <7.0 but>6.0. Do same test through feedlines. 7.0 water in, then test at the final outlet. Keep these lines clean. Make sure you also scrubbing and rinsing tub each time you mix a fresh batch of nutrient. And flush often. Someone I know says twice a week is good practice.

When a hydro recirculated system runs properly the ph will creep up gradually. Regular low doses of acid or ph down becomes part of a bi daily schedule.

Hope that helps
