Bugger sooty you gotta snap too mate, i hope no other pests get into that open wound soot, that branch under the split one looks very susceptible to another split id keep an eye on that, i recken once youve trained them out in veg is fine but now there starting to get weight about them you need support ties from above to take the weight especially when it rains, the bigger they are the more support you need, but otherwise not to shabby at all sooty::nice job

thanks gq. not sure how im going to go about tying it up and support the branches later on. haven't really got anything to attach to, was thinking of knocking in some start pickets around them

Yep pickets work just fine soot, y ou could even weave some ties from picket to picket and create a bit of netting to attach your ties to so you have above support

I drive mine in about half a foot to a foot away sometimes and have never had an issue but in saying that i know mine have big root systems and can handle it, probably not great for small plants but sootys are in pots so should be ok

Geez it’s like everyone’s measuring dick sizes or something . Look I think all the plants are terrific. All put in a lot of effort....ok so maybe not some so much but hey.... I go for more the underdog type person...so go Micmac. I have to support NSW....and well I don’t know...the rest of you are just show offs.

yeah had one on there for a few weeks, came off when i noticed it was getting tight

No good mate. Best get some support in. Don’t know if star pockets are required.

 

Bamboo stalks are excellent to just push in and tie up to. Bunnings sell a bag of 10x1.8m thin bits for around $5 if you can’t source any locally.

2.7 is nothing to shy about well done she will get a little bigger through out the flowering stage id say but yeah mine have slowed down a fair bit too

My plants are all in full swing and sals have only just prouting hairs over the last couple of weeks theres a couple im suspect about though, hopefully there just late bloomers but yeah probs pull a couple more yet
