Got my recirculating system working

hey brurdy, mad looking setup u got going on there! well done on the diy [emoji106] im no expert with this but those clear water hoses u have might cause some dramas later on, algae loves light... is that the 600w viparspectra? what height u got it at?

Thanks. Yeah didn't think of that will see how it goes might have to switch to black. Yep 600w viparspectra it was a little high in this pic moved it down its about 30cm from top of plsnts now

ive got the same light and have noticed the best growth so far has been when the light is around 40-50cm away. will be interested to see what happens at 30cm

First time grow with it may move it up a bit

That's a real neat looking setup mate. To combat light penetration into those white buckets and lines, I have seen people wrap them in alfoil, mylar or panda. Good luck with the grow :peace:

Brurdy the pump your running might be to small i think that's why your running that small bucket? if your running around a 500LPH pump now its probably maxed out on it head height which means u are pumping water very slowly up hill, the height of the water has reached near the pumps capacity

 

run a pump with a head height of around 90-120cm for that set up and u should have plenty of pressure to push water thru those feed rings

Nice setup man. Something to think about. Well 2 things. Take the cover off the fan and you get about 20% more airflow and also start looking for a new one. My oscillating feature fucked out in about 2 months on mine. They not very well build

 

Never take the cage off your fan, if your fan was to fall on the ground the blade would try to spin and burn out the motor possibly causing a fire

 

if u want more capacity in air movement buy a quality fan
