Theres different sized black ones that im using the smaller ones are around 30centermetres wide hold 17litres or so the medium ones 40ctmrs wide and 36litres and the bigger ones are 50ctmrs wide and holds 70litres and thats a guess because i aint going out into this windy arse storm to measure it

Thanks GQ. I just got my pots from Bunnings. The pots are normally sold in cm, so how do I work out the volume in litres?

One litre = 0.1m × 0.1m × 0.1m

Formula for volume in litres will be. Radius squared × pye (3.14) × height, so a pot thats 40cm diameter and is 30cm high, will be 2 × 2 × 3.14 × 3high= 37.7

Thanks dallas thats probably easier than doing the maths if you have a chart at hand,good one, by the way im no mathematician i had to get hubby to help me with the equation, i never even went to high school
