bloody hell i just spent an hour fuckin around in the dark trying to get pics of these beautiful buds and i just cant get them right and my phone wont light up the ones that are up high enough to show what i can see with the torch grrrr all i can get pics of the ones down low, so come back and made myself a cuppa and was thinkin about getting the ladder and now its raining just cant win, anyway they look like this one but bigger20180319_234830

Its hard getting that lighting perfect hey but damn looks nice GQ nice and frosty. Maybe try using the flash light same time as the phone for extra light, get the hubby to stand behind ya with the torch

Sorry to just barge in but I've been following your thread and admiring your work! Might be able to help... maybe . GQ download Magnifier Camera, it keeps your flash/light on while you're taking photos and you can do a good zoom on it too. This was taken in the day, but I think it turned out to be a pretty alright photo. Not as epic as your buds, of course. In awe of your green thumb, GQ! Hope that helps.

it's good , well maybe not for eating , possibly , but to see the fruiting body of mycelium is a good thing 

mycelium can stretch out for miles & takes time to build in the soil , especially once the soil is disturbed by tilling , lets say 

 

sorry if i missed it but what's the deal with the night time pic taking ?

seems like extra work & a lill dangerous , the only white dot on a black wall , everyone sees it  , for miles
