GREENERY IMPROVES THE SCENERY

Recommended Posts

Raised a good point there, itchy. Even though the MSDS suggests it's non-toxic and non-carcinogenic if inhaled. It could change chemical compound/s once heated.

Probably best to give it a extra week or two than recommended before harvest just to err on the side of caution.

Usually though, once they've gone to bud I won't use anything on them other than scissors or secateurs to cut the damaged bits out as a rule. Thought of choofing pesticides is enough for me to give it a miss.

i 'm with ya bro , but if i was struggling in a grow in flower & felt the need to do something , i'd def go beneficial's than any chems

outdoors our buds are covered in microorganisms just like our food , many the same organisms are in our gut / microbiome

so i'm a lill less concerned about this type of protection , a big part of my ipm is via the roots more so than leaves for the very reason

you mention , at some point you can't spray no more

Now as I’m reading through all this information, I’m thinking to myself, how the bloody hell do I remember all this experience collated together in one spot locked away for future use.

Sometimes GQ I think you are on a roll but fall short maybe 200words or so of itchy’s posts lol.

Mr B. What a pain in the ass. Put them on the ground, light them up while making an evil dark laugh :-). I just have one plant left outside. That’s it. And it my bets looking potential so far. She’s around 60cm now and I think it’s almost done growing in height now and just slowly starting to flower. So I read this post about these grubs and it freaks me out.

The forecast is looking better for the next week GQ in NSW so I like to think the weather in the north is starting to clear. Fingers crossed.

lol well timmy i to am one of itchys biggest fans but i dont think the amount of words somebody types defines there abilities or experience, im more a short and sweet kinda chick and always have been, i like to be direct about what ever it is im talking about with the least amount typing and reading lol i find that a lot of people get lost especially newbies when given to much information, its becomes overwhelming and my approach is always the kiss method i try to apply that same method with written explanations as well so that is very clear to the person reading it what it is im on going about, also i have very little spare time to be sitting down long enough to be writing out lengthy high school essays lol on top of that i post plenty of pics of my garden and as far as im concerned pics speak a thousand words so the proof is in the pudding, what i do and how i do it obviously works, im not here to be better than someone else timmy i believe every experienced grower here at osa is an accomplished and brilliant grower in the own rights regardless of there typing skills or there methods because there are so many different ways that work ,so dont be expecting me to be change my ways anytime soon or the way that i explain my methods lol, 60cm,s sounds like your plants is going well timmy, hope the weather comes good for you soon, cheers timmy,,GQ

Is this supposed to be the snappy response? I’m confused. Maybe I need to have a smoke to understand it. I will re-read it tonight :-).your approach is awesome GQ. Nothing short of informative and helpful. To be honest, I think another 4 years in and I would still be lost with itchys post but I must say, the more I read and the more I learn, the more it makes sense. You know what. I generally prefer your approach but sometimes, the detailed technical response from itchy is also spot on and what I need. I always throw in a bit of cheek here and there.

lol whilst i appreciate that fellas it really is about taking a little bit away from every grower here who is skilled and experienced and using that info in a way that suits your needs and requirements to come up with your own style that works for you , in saying that although mine and itchys ways of growing maybe different there is one basic denominator that i know we both can absolutely agree on and that is that natural organic chemical free cannabis is the best there is in everyway lol

Hey GQ , whilst I respect your opinion on all things I think you’ve got a bit of information wrong

I always thought hydroponics used synthetic chemicals to grow , which I’m sure you can

B4 starting I had those concerns and I’m sure if you’re buying your gear you will come across this, but in reality they are exactly the same nutrients that you put in the soil, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium etc, they r merely in a different form that can be readily absorbed by the roots leaving more energy for the more important things

All of the supplements I use r basically different forms of kelp , fish n seaweed extracts etc

So to say that hydroponics grows use chemicals is I think , wrong and organic is better, there exactly the same

What I think makes it generally stronger is genetics and the easy accessibility to what it needs when it needs it

Personally, I don’t think I’ll bother with outside again, but in saying that our needs are no where as great as you, and to grow that much indoors, without a professional setup and plenty of room would be a issue

But for the average joe , who’s needs are similar to mine I would recommend indoor hydroponics for sure

hey mac i dont believe ive ever said that hydroponics is bad EVER, nor have i ever said that all indoors are syntheticly grown? or that outdoors is the only way to do things, pretty sure i said everyone should take away something from all expierieced growers from site not just organic growers didnt i?
