Humidity

Recommended Posts

plant will still grow , she'll keep growing under most adverse conditions

best thing your doing to help solve probs is start with environment , once that's dialed in you can pretty much eliminate

your environment as a factor in any probs

i believe your plant is working harder at those humidity levels , putting more effort in dealing with that humidity

& not as much into growth or flowering or whatever

having a good VPD Vapor pressure deficit , puts the plant in a sweet spot for growth , in short getting the plumbing

efficient between plant & soil

i found it a little hard to get my head around cos the numbers they're talking about would & does freak growers out

the idea of having 24c & 60-80% humidity in flower makes most growers say , F Off ,

these are commercial greenhouse strategies if you want to do some reading , google that & VPD

i had the same problems when using leds in winter ,slow growth high temps and low humidity, since then I have been able to keep humidity at the lowest 57% when lights out temps about 16/18c as the temperature rose I was getting 70/80 at 30+c the plants have loved it,I have found that hps 600w and coco create good humidity constant air flow over plants not a gentle breeze along with good air intake and adequate exhaust provide good environments and the plant responds in kind, you will find in vpd charts the higher the temperature the higher humidity required to keep it the green zone ,this site has been critical for me so much to learn takes a while to all sink in and fit together, find what it is you need to do to get your grow area to produce these conditions as ichty says environment is everything
