WTF is a Netatmo i hear you say 

 

Netatmo , in this case , is a personal weather station 

 

Who gives a fuck about a weather station , stick ya head out the fucking window , if ya head gets wet i reckon it's raining !

 

But what about putting this lill sucker in your grow room or multiple grow rooms , all wifi'd to a phone app that you can set high temp alarms 

look at history over time & & & will also room measure CO2 ,

haven't seen how accurate or what the +/- specs are on there sensors yet 

it does also have a sort of cloud thing that lets you see other netatmo units

near by for weather comparison , not sure if this can be turned off

Good little bit of kit, found mine on ebay for $225 about 3 months back, thats for 2 rooms.

 

Pretty sure its accurate to 0.5+/- (threw the box away) and, you can turn the cloud thing on and off

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but how are you guys finding the Netatmo? Still happy with the info/accuracy, battery usage, etc.?

sorry i missed your Q rigman 

 

up until i had my computer modem shit itself it was working great 

didn't change any batteries while it was running 

 

i can't say that it's super accurate cos i have no other thing to compare to  

 

humidity reading was 10% less & around 2-4c lower than the old bunnings $20 cheapy 

not much of a comparison 

 

i haven't had it running yet still trying to get the new modem to work & be stable 

& generally i only use when growing indoor which i generally don't do in summer 

 

def like the netatmo & like the CO2 info as i don't use any & it's nice to see

what's in the room over the cause of 24hrs or longer , this is also handy with temp & humidity

being able to see 24hrs of lights on & lights off at a glance 

 

do you need to spend on this , i'd say no , but i'm a statistics kind of guy when it comes to growing 

so i like the lill toy & think it's worth the money , for me anyways

No problem mate, you got to it in the end ;-) Thanks for the feedback, I figure I want something for temps and humidity anyways, with this unit I get that, the data is captured for troubleshooting, it's expandable and the CO2 monitoring is a bonus.
