HELP needed. Is this a hermaphrodite plant

Hello all,

 

I need some help .

 

Its my first grow and I have a few different types of auto-flowers in a tent.  I noticed some strange "balls" in this plant even thought its is also developing buds  (see pics)

 

I've done some searching and it looks like a hermaphrodite plant.  I didn't know that could happen to auto-flowers.

 

I don't know what to do with it ...Laugh    Its 56 days old,  It would be such a shame to get rid of it

 

Any thoughts, advice appreciated.

Personally I think those are fine, just a couple of rogue calyxes growing at the join. If they were herm flowers they would have big "bananas" poking out of them - if they were male flowers they wouldn't look like that. 

 

Keep an eye out for bananas and pick them off with tweezers as soon as you can (if they occur at all) and you should be able to take it to harvest without any problems. If there are herm flowers in there you might get a seed or 2 but nothing out of control. If your whole plant goes to shit and pops bananas everywhere then it would be a good idea to get rid of it if it shares the space with other plants.

 

Like I say though, I reckon those are all good - it wouldn't hurt to keep a careful eye on them though if you're concerned, that way you can act quickly if you need to.

Yep I agree with stinky just a swollen calyx nothing to worry about there,all looks normal to me,all the best getting her to harvest, cheers GQ

The funny thing is that its a variety called Speedy Boom,  and I have another plant supposedly the same type and they look completely different ... Go figure
