The cmh is a bit out of reach price wise i could borrow a few bux but I'm worried it won't be much difference to a 400w and heat output isa big factor i need to consider, i am maybe thinking a Mars 400 led because i need to lock the room sometimes and keep nosey people out i won't be able to deal with a hid in summer plus locking the door i don't think

Why would you want to dim the little fucker, grows quicker on full power

I haven't decided on what size tent I'm using yet I'm limited on space so something around 70x70 would fit i can't see putting a 315w in that size tent in summer

400hps, outside temp 10c 74hum

no ballast 27c 23%hum

ballast in 29c 20%hum

no fans

About the same as the 315, maybe a little bit hotter, you would need to do a side by side tent test to be sure, close enough not to care really

tent size 80x80x 1.6

Ran the 315 all night, no inlet fan one vent open at bottom, top zips open for air flow, it ran at 22c and 50%humidity all night

With 6 small plants in there
