well I'm building a 8x8 "storage shed". the roof is gabral, like a barn. I will be using a 750 Watt light by SunSystem. double door. i have a good size fan, that can move for different angles. The building will be in the sun all day. around here during the winter we usally get snow. During the summer, normal 90's, lately 110"2. Any ideas of how vents i'll need? :scratchin Thanks for the info

Peace :P

You're going to be running hot in the summer , so You'll need a good exuaust fan,and a decent vent(down low. An ocillating fan is good for the stems, but I prefere 20" boxfans. What Youre really going to worry about is winter. How do You plan on heating( I know 8'x8' is'nt big, but). I've got 38" of new snow, and shut down My intake/exaust fans, and just use a box fan,and Me and My pittbull for Co2, and it's working fine.<<KAOS>>

you will be in s... i have a shed 4.5' x 6.5' in summer i was stuffed even using a aircooled hood and a 400w hps still way to hot your ticket out would be one of those reverse cycle portable airconditioners for around $650 it'll pay for its self in one crop it'll be inside of your shed so any unwanted neighbours sussing out your yard wont see it in winter just reverse it to hot

you could always try insulation on the walls and roof but you should be consirned about the inlet temp thats where the big problem will be moving alot of air = a big fan and where theres a big fan theres noise someones bound to stumble across it unless u play a small radio in your shed while the lights are on to try and cover up the noise?
