Winter growing Victoria

Recommended Posts

I'm still working on the idea of using chickens to provide heat through the coldest nights of winter, I've seen my old man use the same tactics for growing tomatoes in winter the also breathe out carbon dioxide which will benefit plants that are in small closed in areas like a greenhouse for example, rabbits can also be used the same way but I prefer chooks and aged chook shit is like gold for plants so there's another great reason for incorporating chickens into your garden and don't forget the free supply of free range organic eggs you'll be getting on a regular basis,so much better than store bought eggs

V true.....piles of fresh green woodchip work great in igloos or areas inside and out and get very warm and release heat off.
