Cultiv8 600w hps thoughts

Hi just wondering what kind of results people are getting with the cultiv8 600 watt hps digital ballast and the globe that comes with it.

yes i got a couple recently and did a run with them , and they grew plants just as good as the old magnetic ballasts did

i coul;dnt gauge any difference in plant growth or power useage (which is hard to gauge as the electricity prices go up  during cycle and elect companys new billing is like 5 different levels, diff. strains,  etc.)

they dont run as hot as the old ballasts, cant SEE any difference really, but they work o k so far

i do like the graduated dial of 200, 400, 600 + watts

Cheers for the info mate i already have one i got a cfl at the moment which has surprised me but starting to flower wondering if i should use the hps now just worried about heat is all

just an update on these lights  ... the lamps supplied however,  are sub-standard when compared to SON-T or Sunmaster lamps / bulbs
