Just being a bit paranoid-- can tent/fan/ducts cause problem at custom

Hi guys,

 

I am sure this one will be fine in the end but I am just being a bit paranoid.

 

Got a shipment coming in from China for a small grow tent, inline fan, silenced duct, smart pots, and hangers. That's all -- no soil, no seeds, no glass. It came in yesterday (estimated delivery was before 6pm today) and went into customs check this morning -- "Held awaiting government agency clearance". Then a bit later changed to "Shipment now at depot closest to delivery address. I called up TNT and they said its still in customs going for quarantine checks. I thought thats a bit odd since they said its in depot but who knows. She read "grow tent" and asked me if its soil, etc.

 

So I know this is all a bit paranoid but-- my understand is that none of these items are against customs import rules, and none of them should give them any reason to think twice about me or my shipment... right?

Is there any reason to clean shop, or once I get it, not to start for a few months?

the idea of ordering online is to AVOID customs, po po, assorted nasties...

I wouldn't be surprised if TNT said it was still at customs

They would have read grow tent and thought it may have contained soil or plant matter it probably skipped there mind that its brand new and they probably assumed it had been used for growing plants previously, surely once they seen it was brand new they would have released it for shipping

Tracking usually says "On board with courier for delivery X Date" which is usually that day, post up some pics once your up and running
