It's possible that some US state laws are better than the Qld. laws, but yeah, the cops down here don't seem to want to know about personal use and growing.

One of the (main) reasons the Dutch "tolerance policy" was borne, is the fact that police officers in the early 70's complained about having to arrest normal working people for just smoking some weed while there's plenty serious crime going on and they wanted to give more attention to the 'real criminals'. lol
