When should i harvest sativa?

Even though you think you have about 4to6weeks left make sure your checking regularly as and e.g I have 10 in a patch and all most none if them will be harvested at the same time as they will ripen at diff times depending size and strain

Cheers man im only guessing but weird thing is trichs only became noticeable at week 6ish so last week but from what i can see with my loupe, they seem cloudy already but surely thats not right

Hmm if there cloudy then it may be done sooner then i think which is awesome haha

Yep that's why you must check regularly, be sure not to let them go past there optimal time as your precious trichs will start to break down and loose potency, I would always pick harvesting slightly early over harvesting to late

Yeah i was thinking of letting my other indica go longer then my first to get a fair bit of amber to see what i like more in an indica, i have never grown a sativa so i guess optimal time to harvest all dank is when its 100 percent cloudy correct because amber is thc breaking down losing potency correct?

I'm not a scientific expert but i think that beyond amber is when the little balls on top off your trichs start to burst and that signals past optimal harvest again everyone's got different views its really is hard to get rock solid confirmation on the net as everybody has different views as to when optimal harvest is,best way is through trial and error,nothing beats experience

Too true i will do my own learning then, and next year try some different harvest times and see what i like most

Yeah 50/50 sounds good, have never looked at the trich's , I just wait till its ready. you will get to know when

Well is it weird that they honestly look cloudy on the sativa at week 7ish? Im guessing that its a hybrid and thats why its already showing cloudy trichs on a pure sativa im guessing it would show cloudy trichs at week 8 to 10? Does that sound about right
