i recently aquired a patch of land to do with what i wish and i am wondering has anyone got any idea which are the best vegetables that will survive with only 3 hours of direct sunlight a day. I was thinking corn , but i think they need alot of light , any ideas??

hah well ive got some gold tooth , and some mullumbimby on the way, but i am gonna plant vegies aswell, i like growing stuff!!! any ideas?

depends on your state like weather water etc. but just stuff ya like mate.

I would be getting the soil ready well before planting.

I've grown lettuce before with very little sunlight. Check out the DPI site, it might have the information you're looking for.

just a bit more info,

i live in perth , so plenty of sunlight, will get very hot in the next few months, so i need something that will handle the heat, water is no problem..........

just an update

i have planted

-parsley

-lettuce

-corn

-roma tomatoes- which came in this wiked little pack where you get like a tiny little green house to nurture them, execelent little nursery.

 

i had to loossen much of the soil for the lettuce and the corn requires alot of spacing so i have stratigically placced these plant in a circle, in the middle i will have my "personal" plants!!! ::

 

any ideas on a good genral fertalizer for these plants

 

ps only lettuce and corn have been planted directly into the ground so far.
