From LED Veg to outdoor flower

Hi all, I'm hooked on this site, awesome reads and a laugh too...

 

So I have a question...

 

If I have a foto sativa dominant clone under 18/6 lights to the desired height, can this be put outside to flower without reverting to veg in the following daytime scenarios-

 

A/ Daylight hours getting shorter coming into winter and dark hours <12

 

B/ Daylight hours getting longer but dark still <12

 

C/ Daylight hours getting longer but dark hours now more than 12hrs.

 

I would imagine-

A/ would work, perhaps shadecloth for a week to get use to sun.

 

B/ No idea... Anyone tried?

 

C/ Dunno.... Perhaps you can start the flower under lights untill it passes the no return stage? Anyone tried? How long untill it cant revert?

Just a quick edit to justify why I put it in guerilla grow section, I would like to do 20 clones 3 times a year in the periods above in our fnq state Forrest...

Its all an experiment really mate, every strain reacts a little differently. Clones vegged up and heading outdoors in autumn and spring do well from my experience. Good luck and just try some shit that's how ya learn, I love trying to grow in winter outdoor

the actual trigger point for flower is somewhere around 14.5-14.0 hours light. this year i held mothers at around 18hrs light and then slowly reduced them to around 14.5 to get them closer to what they would be facing when they went outdoors. The most indica strains all started to go to flower around 14.5.  Its only down to 13hrs outside at the moment and nearlly all outdoor plants are nearing harvest, so they were all triggered many weeks ago. im not sure if they see the trend moreso than the hours.

 

there is no point of no return as far as ive seen, ive harvested buds and taken clones at the same time, the buds revegged.

 

Your option B would work given it was earlier enough in the year i would think but its typically too cold then anyway.
