Sexing cuttings

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Have a Yantra South epi Sativa.

Took these tops at the plants second topping 10 days ago.

Have kept them in a light solution of season and put under 12\12.

Very hard to see I will admit but I'm not sure if these are signs of pistils or the next set of small leaves. Not much happening at the nodes, just the tops.

Any comments welcome.

Tell me what you think.

Cheers

This had a tough start.

Bad light. Too much heat. About 2 months since germination but it didn't really have good conditions until about a month ago.

Tent, 315w, extractor, h&g nutes ( up to 1.4 EC now) and correct pH worked wonders. Surprise surprise.

In a blend of unknown Coco from a mate in the industry. I did wash it. Added 40% Searles premium minus woodchips. Pot is 290mm from bummings.

Has been under a verticle hi-par sunstorm reflector with Philips 3000k, 315w cmh for last 2 weeks in a 1mx1m tent with 3 other plants.

Just realised the I need to turn it to give equal light to beef up that other branch. Tied a few down.

Most vital part of turning this plant around has been the info on this site and the help and advice from members.

Good on you all:)

Cheers

How are yours going Carbcon ?

Havnt found any info on head time with this strain ,

Was going to put these to head couple of days ago just to see how far they stretch but going by yours it seems not too excessive.

so I might give these a little longer .

South EPI Vanuatu Sativa ....AKA . Mangoviece.

Have had mine outside for 2 weeks.

Looks like it's just starting to stretch. From 500mm when put out to around 700mm now.

No clear sign of sex yet.

It fell over a few days ago, no harm done, added a bamboo support.

Pretty happy how they are going, lots of tops on the sativa. Other 2 bagseed look more indica but still taking their time. Last pic is other bagseed. They did get almost 60mm of rain yesterday.

Had a white widow double in size and grow balls before I pulled it. Was put out the same time. I was amazed. Was over 1m.

Looking at pics, reckon they need a feed? Possibly a bit of flushing going on with the rain? Had a good feed of h and g Coco at 1.3 EC 2 days ago.

Sativa has bamboo and in foreground in pics. Apologies as were taken on tablet. Can't delete the pic posted twice either.

So in conclusion, 200mm of growth in 2 weeks, probably 100mm in last few days.

Will keep u updated
