http://massspectrumbotanicals.net/learn/plant-growth-regulators/ Knock yourselves out.

PGRS mimic plant hormones..... ofcourse there are endogenous plant hormones so there are organic plant growth regulators...

If you want to dramatically boost terpene and resin production look into jasmonic acid or jasmonates, is found in certain rose sprays...... Some experimentation is probably necessary to perfect though its more than likely worthwhile.... Its use may be for the connoisseurs amongst us though.... Found an ozzie source : http://methyljasmonate.com/order_methyl_jasmonate.html

Cheers

The site mentioned only lists a handful or so of pgr's .... you can pursue researching plant hormones yourself though and who knows after falling down the rabbit hole you might have gained some insight into what you can safely apply to plants for pgr applications....... If you know how to properly train a plant with LST you dont need them though .... Nobody should be needing PGRS ..... if you do you havent forged a strong bond with the plant..... plant training is an art and experimenting yourself is key ....

You could ofcourse purchase a book on bonsai techniques .... that is probably a good idea ...
