Watts per plant ?

Recommended Posts

Kickarse, LED technology is actually sweeping us growers off our feet mate, check out "Techni Grower" on Youtube i was recently following his weekly uploads he grew 4 plants in DWC i think his area was 2x1 meter or 2.2x1.2 meter something like that he used 10 COB LED's the ones I'm using per his growing area and in his week 8 or week 9 video he says in his msg's he pulled over 1kg of bud, now take this into consideration his 10 lights only use 500watts of power!

and Techni Grower is a Aussie too

cheers Gazza haven't seen TechniGrower before as his channel is pretty small but just caught up with his grow. I actually think that whatever I am growing (bagseed) looks very similar to what he is growing so it might be big bud, wouldn't surprise me as it 's a very commercial strain. I reckon he could benefit from a bit more light but he has got a nice setup, maybe up to 15 lights to cover that area a bit better. Will keep an eye out for a harvest video.

I have said a few times before but i'm planning out a COB based grow in a 4x4 tent so watching all the vids on youtube I can :) Got a huge list i'm keeping an eye on now.

COB's are pretty good i am getting some wickedly fast growth under mine its fucking insane, my plants are 3 weeks 1 day from soaking seeds and one is over 1 foot tall and i have zero light bleaching and she is around 15-20cm from the light

Techni Grower didn't end up uploading a final video but you'll notice in his 9th week update he says in the msg's below the video he pulled over 1 kilo of bud

nice result from 4 plants, but i hate when people don't finish the series haha. I'm thinking of chucking 10 COBs in my 4x4 area and would be looking to get 1.5-2lb from that space once it's fully dialed in. One grow a year should last me :)
