Well if it ever becomes legal here I'd expect all different prices for different grades just like different prices for alcohol ..If I was to buy I'd certainly pay a higher price for something grown totally organically outside than something that had chemicals used on it

Fucken aymen to that . really i was only making a point that the only thing in alot of ppls eyes these days are $$$$$$ sings . It is random yes off the street but if ya got a good dealer he or she will look after ya normally coz they know ya come back . I know in S.A to Vic's prices is a big difference . Say 50 $ worh in S.A about a q were in vic 50 $ worth is only a 3 .

yep true..  Its sucks when I have known a dealer 25 years and before he was  dealer he used to come to me for smoke. Now he will profit on absolute rubbish and pretend there is nothing wrong with it, even act like there is something wrong with me and i must be immune

 

Fkn arsehat doesn't give a shit about customers or mates. It all about the $$$ and just when people start to complain he opens up a nice dank pound just to keep people happy for a while.

 

Forced me back into growing my own and im never going to stop.

This highlights how sharing good smoke to strangers is a big worry. Their used to avg to bad weed then go where the hell is this stuff coming from, then the need to know where you got it from kicks in.

I think focussing on cost is looking at things completely wrong.  Proper quality non PGR buds as compared to that commercial shite is a no brainer.  If I was buying I wouldn't touch the commercial stuff at any price, so the fact that it is artificially keeping street prices extremely low becomes irrelevant.  25-30 years ago, $120 for a 1/4 of high grade bud wasn't a rarity, so considering inflation etc I don't see how it could be honestly viewed as a bad price now???? 

 

And as smj said about alcohol, I can get a bottle of Scotch for $30 or maybe less, but if I appreciated quality Scotch, and could afford it, I'd happily pay $200 a bottle with the occassional splurge on something even better for special occassions.  I don't like Scotch, but I have a Scottish uncle who loves it and has explained it all to me.  When I was drinking, even though I'm poor, I was getting $70 bottles of Bourbon rather than a $30 bottle of that Beam shite, so much better.

 

Same with pretty much everything in the commercial world, so why get upset over good weed costing more than commercial shite?

I drink instant/no brand coffee, because I dont care, it wakes me up and stops me getting caffeine withdrawal headaches.

 

however, I refuse to eat no name or even mid price pasta. I like pasta and I spend a little more for good stuff.

Same with soy sauce, I am particular.

 

When I drank booze I loved scotch, couldnt afford a good one, ever (though sometimes was gifted nice scotch), but soon learned that some of the lower mid range stuff was better than others and stuck to those.
