Here's one for all of you that were told that you could always trust a policeman, and for those of you that have said it to your kids.

 

Cop jailed over child porn collection.

 

A Perth judge has imposed a two-and-a-half year jail term on a police officer who collected hundreds of thousands of images of hardcore child pornography.

 

Michael Anthony Willis admitted collecting the images from the Internet over seven years while he was a serving police officer.

 

They featured girls as young as 12 months being abused by adults in what District Court judge Michael Muller described as child pornography among the worst of its kind.

 

Willis was given a discounted sentence because of his early plea of guilty and his cooperation with authorities.

 

He was sacked from the police service last year after being charged as part of a nationwide crackdown on child pornography on the Internet, codenamed Operation Auxin.

I always tell my kids if they are ever in trouble to find a policeman cause they are the good guys.

They are still a safer choice than a priest or teacher and at least he got the arse as soon as he was found out instead of just getting a transfer to another high-risk area like teachers and priests usually do.

Yea same here, but I have also taught them not to trust anyone unless they have proven their trust to them.
