Chopper flies over my house everyday nearly.. duno if they have thermal imaging, or whether they use it.. gonna be out of this house soon though.

 

Im looking at selling my 400w kit at the moment.. Gazza, so for that 600w light you have, all I'd need is a shade? Does the plug that plugs into the ballast and stuff normally come with the shade? I can get an adjustashade for $40 second hand. I dont have a credit card or anything, id be happy to buy it for the buy now price though, if you want to arrange something. I can have the cash on tuesday, perhaps i could express post a money order to you? I live just west of sydney.

 

Tom: I decided to go with the 600w's.. just did a lumen comparison, pretty good. If I dont end up getting a good second hand unit, ill buy a new one from nutriflo, but I have to buy a lawn mower and stuff this week amongst other things, so lighting isnt really my highest priority right at the moment. Ill definately be getting another sometime though

 

Luke: I just want more light penetration.. coverage isnt really a problem. Its still pretty dark down under the top canopy of the plants.. but I only have four near 2ft plants there, so 600w should do ok.

 

Gazza: Im gonna go crazy on the foil after the inspection then, Ive been reading alot about nsw busts on these forums and they seem to REALLY overestimate the price of weed and what people grow for. I mean.. for anyone to have a SOG setup they are nearly guaranteed jail. I mean, if you have say, 10 mother plants which are keepers from different strains, 50 plants in the SOG.. maybe a few clones here and there. .thats enough to go to jail i think, which is pretty sad.. especially if you are growing only for yourself.. but as Ned Kelly said: Such is life

i know of 3 familys that have been kicked out of there houses for having pot in the last 4 months! now u know why i give up? nat i cant really sell the light out of ebay if i get busted i will lose my account meaning no more buying/selling also if your interested i have the awesome aircooled shade from canada and with the ballast it has the cord that plugs into the power point when u buy a shade that will have a cord that plugs into the control box if no one bids/buys the shade i might be able to work something out with u BUT only once the auction finish's i am in liverpool area and can deliver for a fee...

by the way a 600w is a big step up from a 400w the light gets much tense! and the heat picks up a noticeable amount keep this in mind

Did you originally have the fan on a buy it now thing? I went back to buy it, and it wasn't there no more! Or was I just too stoned??

chev i had the buy now on the fan for $50-$60 cant remember but once a bid is placed the buy now goes away i dont know what is wrong with ebay...

i can say you scored a bargain on the 250w hps! i payed something liek $130 for the box and $90 for the bulbs the quality of the control box is as good as ablite and warranty to it does not come with the original docket i never got one... but the warranty date is printed on the side for more info check out www.accenthydroponics.com.au think thats the link

heres what i grew with the 250watter u just brought nothing to brag about but i went through hell with this plant in DWC ph was way out uncontrollable alot of leaf burn

i wonder is luke skywalker is pulling hes hair out? last time i advertised one of my 400hps lights for sale on ebay i added the link in here they wernt happy but they dont see the good side.... i am helping fellow OS'ers i dont think i would have so much interest in my items if it wasnt for this forum so
