Help Have Found Someone selling Indica Clones

I have recently found someone that is selling clones for 10 a pop. I would love to give growing a go. The only problem is I'm a full time student on the Queensland coast. I was wondering is there any important "Rules of the trade" I need to know. Just basic things such as flowering times and would I need to keep it inside (Ideal).

Hey Harry,

So, you have an idea. Now you need to make a plan and depending on your chosen method will depend on what you may need to fulfil that plan. In general (and this is very general) you need to grow your plant first, your lighting times to grow are 18hrs light, 6hrs dark. Then to grow buds your light times change from 18/6 to 12/12, that's 12hours light, 12hrs dark. Some people do grow using different timings but in general these are the hrs you need.

Now, as I say, this is VERY basic info and growing is a bit more in depth than this. Things such as nutrient levels and types of lighting are also important, but go have a read thru Cannaversity for an overview of some of the differing methods, then make a plan.

Do you have somewhere outdoors you can grow? (though pretty much too late to really do that)

 

if confined to indoors, sorry i cannot help, id start reading and learning and asking. But wouldn't rush out and get clones until you have a plan and all the materials.

I just give em away but yeah $10 is a cheap deal normally. Find out the strain before growing them. The flowering time will depend on the strain he sells you. You can keep it inside or outside it's totally up to you.  Given that its not ideal outside though, inside is the way to go at this time of year..

Yeah i used to buy em for $30. Overnight shipping from interstate  

 

No, not next to a window. That would be the worst option.

 

 They wont get much veg time now outside now. Clones are already sexually mature and may also be getting 18 hours light a day so anywhere under natural light will trigger them  Once daylight hours drop under 14 hours a day it's a trigger for the plants to flower.  At the moment we have less than 14 hours and its dropping fast, most plants are flowering now or will be very soon. Your clone is small and no branches so you want it to grow a bit before letting it flower.    If you have a space, it  doesn't need to be big, a few a square feet and you could by a CFL, LED or T5  starting from about $50. Give them 18 hours a day directly under the light and once they have a little size and a few decent branches you can throw them outside to flower.
