Seasol

I once read seaweed extract encourages sexual reversal (male flowers on female plant/hermies) due to it containing plant hormones. Is alright to feed it to them early in flowering? Is that some old wives tale about the hermies?

never heard that B4 , but wouldn't put it past some of the synthetic hormones/pgr's 

 

seasol is fine to use , stick to bottle rates 

 

organically , buying kelp meal & making your own kelp teas ( kelp + water + bubbles + time ) along with top dressing the kelp 

would give you a much better end result & more cost effective than seasol , nothing wrong with using seasol though

Thanks for putting my mind at ease, I recently moved my ladies into the ground and know that it's supposed to be great for minimizing the stress sometimes involed in transplanting. I've always loved the idea of making an organic tea for my plants so thanks for that info too. Since seasol is low in nitrogen and phosphorus is it ok to make a mix of general use fertilizer and seasol in the same can before watering?

Yeah good for transplanting & you can mix  

but i would tend to split them , seasol one watering 

whatever nutes the next watering & a plain rain watering after that 

& back to the start again , maybe that's just me
