VAPING FOR LUNG CANCER

Topai

Question

Hi would like to hear from those who know a bit about this ?

How is vaping better than smoking ? Apparentley is less harsh , & doesnt burn the weed like smoking it does ?

Ive got mets in my lungs & have read this is one of the better administration routes ?

Have tried it before, not sure how much wld need to consume to be beneficial ? friend had one of those volcano vap machines, expensive though at $7-800, anything as gd cheaper ?

Thanks

Hey Topai,

sorry to hear of the lung cancer man.. I am no expert, but from whatI have read is that smoke contains particulate matter that can get caught in the lungs. Since vaporisers don't actually combust the material there is likely to be less particilates.

re. vapes, I have tried a few and the only ones i would ever buy are the volcano, crafty and plenty.

If u can keep the vapor down and not cough ur guts up i think it may be beneficial, but, I saw my dad die from lung cancer and im not sure how he would have gone trying to vape as he coughed, A LOT just trying to breathe.

Sorry bout ur diagnosis, unfortunately it's getting more and more prevalent, check out youtube for canna curing lung cancers, there is quite few.

This link is one i came across after dad passed, the lady had stage 4 lung cancer and she took oil she has has petscans from before and after the oil, now she was told she was terminal go home and be with ur family u got 6 months i think she said its either 3 or 6 months later and the pet scan was clear, impressive stuff, most research i have was on lung cancer, i believe it works.

Good luck with ur fight.

Hi Iv been told by my doctor Iv got CODP , I only see the specialist on the 24th May , Im looking for advice on a better way of smoking without tobacco , I see by the comments vaping is the way to go .

You shouldn't be smoking with tobacco mixed in with canna to begin with, all the excuses for doing it are bullshit.  Properly mulled quality weed, good bong, kept clean, smaller cone, slow pull followed by a good suck of fresh air after clearing the chamber, should give a tasty smoke without coughing your hole up.  Sorry about that rant, but seeing good canna contaminated with filthy tobacco is one of those things that gets me riled up for some reason, even though I used to do it when I was young and stupid.

As for vaping, I do it instead these days, and strongly believe it's a much healthier option with other upsides as well.  But, I'm not quite convinced that it causes no lung or throat issues at all.  I know there's some thoughts floating around about some negatives to do with vaping e cigs etc, but I believe that's to do with the liquid they use to carry the nico and flavours etc, but vaping raw buds, hash etc, doesn't use any of that shit.  Can still cause some irritation at times thought, so who knows.  Compare your vape's stem or whip after a couple of weeks use to a bong stem after a single session though, and you'll quickly come to the conclusion that it must be a shitload healthier, and less stinky.

:peace:

Vanora , no harm in trying a vape ,...and no smoke particulates.so gotta be a better choice .

What's always pissed me off .....is that knowing all the poisons that are put into tobacco...the governments never forced them

( Tobacco Companies ). To give us a choice of clean non adulterated tobacco .

But that's another rant !

American Spirit is one, but hard to find in Aus.  Missus has been smoking Manitou as a lead up to hopefully quitting, started with their rolling baccy after exhausting the stash of home grown baccy I did last year, and is now on the pink tailor mades, being their weakest ones.  Got them from Free Choice Tobacconist, a little more exxy, but they are organic and additive free.  She reckons there's a noticeable difference  with both home grown and the Manitou, compared to mainstream baccy with additives, and was in a state of semi withdrawal as a result, nico just didn't hit as hard apparently.  She also said yesterday that she wasn't really coughing any more either, so it does seem to be a better option, probably took about 2 weeks for her to start noticing those sorts of differences, but she's also cut back dramatically so that probably influences it as well.

I bought baccy seeds off a guy in Tas, through ebay.  Time consuming, but easy enough to grow.  Needs a very long cure to be any good though, took about 6 months to start smelling decent and sweet.

As an ex 60 ciggie a day smoker, don't substitute.

I tried almost everything under the sun.

Several months back I said to myself. Fuck that. I went cold turkey. On a Friday.

Have not touched one since.

I'm confident I have beaten the addiction with a 95% confidence interval.

72 hours after I stopped all nicotine was out of my system, so it then became a mental battle against habit.

Allow yourself joInts and cones. But. If you smoje with lung cancer... that's dumb.
