ok , if you used eco neem it didn't need to be emulsified , that rules that out

morning spray could be the prob , if any sun gets on a leaf that has oil on it

it will burn pretty quick , allot quicker & harsher than plain water on a leaf in the sun

did you notice the damaged leaves some time after you sprayed neem , like about

what looks like 5 nodes ago

spray once the sun go's down , if there's a bit of wind around it will be gone by morning

if it's a still night check the plants in the morning for any drops still sitting on leaves or under leaves

From what I remember, the damaged leaves did occur not long after I sprayed so that could well be the cause. Will it harm the plant much? Should I remove the affected leaves? Thanks heaps for your help

leave the leaves and it will be fine, provided that is the case (which I suspect is true).

for me, I dont pull off leaves, if a slight tug, as in SLIGHT they drop off, ok, but I leave yellowing leaves, plant sucks up goodness from them, also note, the other day it was 41c here, and all the yellow leaves (yellow but still alive) end of the day were all dried up, I guess the plant really sucked everything moisture wise from them to help handle the heat (thats my theory anyway), so IMHO leave the leaves ;)
