It all depends on the size of the plants also.. and what type of system you are running, but I REALLY cannot see anyone going to jail over just 10 plants or under.. Maybe you would get fined and a good behaviour bond or something, but I doubt you would do time for growing "YOUR OWN PERSONAL" smoko.. if its for commercial or they can prove intent to sell, then I think you would face higher penalties, or if you already have charges for another matter.

That really sucks, 50 plants isnt 'really' that many.. especially if only ONE of them is gonna be a keeper, like if your growing out strains for mums. But Im thinking of starting all my plants out in the bush or backyard, like sprouting them there etc.. then bring all the keepers back into the house, run them on a 13/11 grow cycle, and 11/13 flower.. or around abouts that. But then, Im also thinking of just having a keeper mum or two, and cloning. Just need to get my cloning technique down, trying new methods now.

Yeah, plant numbers are always a worry, especially if you keep your own mums and do your own clones, plant numbers can get quite high.

Just remember that the cops consider one clone or seeds as a fully grown plant and will charge you something like $2000 - 3000 just for that one seed or clone.

Wow, that sucks.. I have 13 clones, 5 plants, 10 seeds going right now... am probably about to germinate another three packs, so thats 30 seeds.. there is like nearly 60 'plants' .. and Ill only keep the 5 plants + clones are going to friends, and seeds ill keep one or two females from each.

you'll get about 25-50hours community service for 2 plants, anything over 10 plants in NSW your classed as a dealer 2years + of getting your rear end resized :reallyexcited: be careful just remember cops need a good excuse to get a warrant dont give them one and u wont be busted!

Gazza I think you will find tyhat it is a bit over 10 before they start calling you a dealer the actual number for a comercial grow in Sydney is 50 and around 20 is a potential drug dealing charge ( still not nesseceraly gonna go to jail though )

 

to stay smart keep it under 10 in NSW I tend to not flower more than 6 at a time , this grow I happen to have 8 and think I would have done better with my lighting and space ect if I had stuck with the 6

 

when I was done for 8 plants I recived a 500 dollar fine for it , the other stuff they charged me with at the time was actually more expencive than the growing charge

 

 

NSW is good as far as mumbers you can have and allot of people say it is because it is still criminalised here , they seem to take away allot from the states that it has become legal to have a few plants and make it allot easier to be labeled and charged as a dealer

WA its 2 plans with no conviction.. but im not sure if that is in a hydroponic medium.

 

It would be good to have one mother, and a clone going at all times, guess they see it as personal smoke. But for the enthusiast.. its hard to keep plant numbers down, especially when you get alot of good, rare, strains.. and will never get them again. Rent inspections and real estates are a bitch, I just had my rent inspection and now have to go put my grow room back up tonight. Been up all night taking it down and cleaning and putting in new flooring.. so shes gonna be crystal clean with brand new white tiles and proper reflective lighting this time.. I cant wait for my next grow

 

Gazza your scaring me there now Ive found homes for most of my clones, and am going to sprout seeds in other locations. Perhaps at the park, nestled in a tree away from birds would be a good choice. Humidity dome.. they could last there the first week or more of their lives.. then one week under a 24hr fluoro to see phenotypes and discard all but a nice few keepers, sex and flower
