billygoat
Hi all, I like to weigh my grows, really just to see my gpw and understand my personal usage and requirements. So, what sort of scales can people recommend please. I have a small digi scale ive had for decades, but my older age laziness is getting the better if me. I only care for weights within a gram, weighing a minimum of an ounce at a time, preferably 2-3. Any ebay recommendations please ? Weighing in 2-3 gram increments is doing my head in !! Harry Bootlace
I got kitchen scales I got from an op shop.prob not 100% accurate. I use it for my home business (selling online) when i weigh parcels to send (legal) and I am always close to what post office weighs in at. units in grams and oz and pounds and kilos (up to 5 kg) handy tray on top
Carnage
how much you want to spend ? can get yourself digital deli scales for over $1k or an old trusty brand name such as tanita in kitchen size: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tanita-Digital-Kitchen-Scale-Stainless-Steel-KD-811-/271879349973?hash=item3f4d45a6d5:g:JdsAAOSwiYFXGLdT might be what youre after. i used to sport a set of tanita digital pocket scales everywhere i went in the 90s *edit: here's a cut n paste review... I bought this scale to replace my old scale of a different brand that kept sucking the batteries dry very quickly as it didn't have an off button. This Tanita scale is very heavy duty and has an on and off switch, so that should sort out the battery life issue.
