White Dust-Like coating on leaves

Never run into this before

 

thought it could be powdery mildew but it's like flour and only on the top of the leaves (as far as I can tell)

the grow is in an attic and in a desert climate - humidity hit a high of 15% today '

using AzoMax every few waterings to keep bugs in check- nothing on the yellow sticky cards

can see it on a few of the leaves on this plant (zoom in)

Its not coming off the plaster above? If you wipe clean how long to reappear? Hope your doing well too MT

plaster is a thought I've had too, don't think so tho... all plants are in tents

 

so good to see you dropping in!!

 

what ever this is it can not be just rubbed of - it needs a bit of water+ to take it off

azamax residue , i'm guessing , i've never used azamax

 

i see similar with aloe ,fulvic , silica & neem sprays

prob the emulsifier used in azamax ,

 

i find it's the silica in my spray which is the emulsifier

which can leave a residue over time  

 

good to have the odd plain water spray in between applications 

should stop it happening , if that's what it is
