well thats what i think.

 

apparently some have a growth retardant or something. But I often have them sprouting in my cupboard. So who knows, Im doing it now, so we shall see what they turn into.

vege / herb patch update.

 

Slowly cutting the giant seeded parsley, making room for new stuff.

Rocket self seeded, going nuts.

Likewise basil.

Likewise land cress.

All seedlings but growing each day.

 

Mint has gone nuts as it usually does.

 

have planted tomatoes, chillies, beans, collard greens, kale, corn, pumpkin, and stuff I forget.

 

left half of image is parsley not quite done, and area thats being replanted.

right half will be a jungle once the sprouts have grown.

 

2 secret friends in there also.

yea i tore all my parsley and mint and milk thistle (detoxing agent) out recently.

 

They grew right fuckn back ROFLCOPTER.

 

oh well no loss now. got em all back.

yeah, I let everything go to seed, bit of water and some sun and I get it all back again.

almost magical.

disaster last night or this morning, storm blew over a fence I built, LUCKY it fell in the best direction, Not towards the more precious plants.

 

anyway, yes my vege/herb patch (or this one) is a mess. But its full of edible things, even most of the weeds are edible. Slowly I get rid of the useless (or less useful) weeds and replace with good stuff.

 

I let everything go to seed so each season it will be more and more good weeds. Parsley, mint/s, collard greens, rocket, sage, oregano, thyme, marjoram, nasturtium, pumpkin, potatoes, tomatoes, silver beet, ginger, land cress, basil, sunflowers, chillies, corn, dill, I forget what else.

 

 

 planted more poppies as others just didnt work, maybe they do better when its milder and wetter (?) tobacco had zero luck.

agree, seriously, I have suffered major depression for years, and I swear this helps more than all the drugs, therapy, and whatever else put together.

mate i would go as far as to say soil beneficials can do wonders for any human 

i think that's why so many love gardening , getting ya hands dirty is a lill more than just getting ya hands dirty

And you might be right.

 

probably another reason hydro etc has no interest to me. I get it if you just want to smoke. But as said elsewhere the whole (natural)  process is equally important to me.
