good stuff mate but i'm sorry i see more

sitting ballasts on plastic with a high heat source

depending how hot they run of cause , i've used

something like that B4 , turn the plastic container

up the other way for strength then sat bricks at

either end of the ballast for air flow around it so no

heat on plastic

my solis tek digital ballast hangs up side down from the ceiling ,

it has a hook point or fixing point at each end of the ballast

so you can hang or fix to something

sorry to be a pain in the arse mate but you never know what's round the corner

even though my house has a safety switch i have all grow room power running though

plug in safety switches so if there's a prob it pulls the room down B4 the house switch

triggers

Double adapters in power boards with high loads isn't a good idea. As itchy is saying, it's better to be safe than have your house burn down.

Cheers Bazza i will get rid of that!

My power board has a spike arester and cut off so in probably lucky i didn't overload!
