How early can you determine sex

Recommended Posts

Usually about 30ish days from seed and most plants should start to show, I've had a super quick ~16 days boy show up once.

A technique someone else here mentioned but I haven't tried it yet is to take a cutting like you would a clone and stick in a small glass/jar of water and put it in a dark cupboard for a week, this should technically 'shock' the cutting into showing sex.

Ok, so binned that male and planted two more 4 weeks ago.

They are just over 100cm tall and showing no signs of being male yet.

Are they now at the size where they should go into the ground? Or should I wait?

I'm actually planting two a month to see what the ultimate starting month is for my area.

First two, September, one died other male.

These two are October planted and looking ok so far.post-47564-0-44588000-1479284177_thumb.jpg
