Motor Neurone Disease Canna advice please

Jagged

Question

Hello Guys hope ur all well,

Need some advice on what Cannabinoids people have been using for MND, i have done a small amount of research on the subject but the time it would take for me to get up to speed may be too long.

One of my partners friends has asked her questions regarding acquiring oil for MND. Her husband has been dealing with MND for 8 years now after being given 5 years to live, at the 5 year mark he had a Tracheotomy because his lungs stopped working. He is currently bed ridden or wheelchair bound and needs assistance  for All daily tasks.

I read on one of the only sites i found with any sort of decent info that CBD is being used with good results the only mention on that site about THC was that there was also info on THC being effective but it is illegal so not much help.

If anyone can point me to info on the subject i would really appreciate it as i need to move fast on this and learn about how Canna can help MND before this guy succumbs to this shitty disease.

The one trial i read about was with mice, where they say CBD extended life by 3 years. I will post the link below to this info.

I also need to find info on compassionate organisations or people that are informed and active on the subject of helping people with such diseases. If that info has the potential to cross the forums guidelines on sources please let me know and i can supply my personal email or facebook so i can discuss the subject with you.

I can get my hands on commercial weed smoked by rec users and such but its not worth it in this case  as this guy already has enough to deal with without adding things such as not knowing the providence of product and potentially concentrated any additives that had been used in the growing process.

Would really appreciate any info and advice on this subject such as but not limited to studies or anecdotal evidence so i can getting cracking and help this guy get what he needs to hopefully give him a bit of extended life or even an improvement in his quality of life.

Cheers

Unfortunately I don't have any advice jagged but I wanted to thank you for the link.

My grandmother died from MND at 40... it was wonderful to read how cannabis has extended and improved the quality of life for those sufferers.

Did you purchase the ebook by the author of that article? For $10, I'd be starting there. I purchased it... can't wait to have a good read. The last 12 pages is citations and references which might lead you to some more info.

I question the value of waiting until you can source non-commercial canna though. It's a bit like saying that because I can't source organic veggies, I'm better off having no veggies?? Just my opinion.

Hi phenix

Sorry about ur grandmother it a terrible disease and 40 is way too young for anyone to die

i didnt purchase the book, didnt see it there :) thank you for the tip

I thought the same about weed being weed but changed my mind after reading an article about concentrates and it made complete sense to me. It stated that when you make concentrates you concentrate everything including any nasties that were put on the plant or watered with, which in a worst case scenario could be fatal and if that was the case i couldnt in good conscience make meds for another person not knowing how the weed was grown.

Hi I am a new member of the community . I have two friends who have passed from this mnd. The first about 10 years ago I being a chef was given some good weed and made brownies for her this changed her life for the better. She lived a further 18 months. My other friend was a lot luckier as I had researched the making of oils . his life was much longer the use of the oil cannabis coconut oil made his life so much better he still passed a few years. I think this is truely an awful condition. I have been researching for my own problems migraine and pain and on this journey I find so many people This oil helps , chronic pain, Parkinson's , I have two friends who both used morphine for spinal problems after a few weeks both have given up the opiates . I wish the best
