Clones for outdoor grow

Recommended Posts

So I got some cuttings of some nice plants from indoors that have just started 12:12. I put the cuttings in under my t5 fluro and have the timer on from 5am to 7pm as to mimic sun hours that will be happening around mid October. I'm hoping the plants will grow through till March/April and yield big..anyone advice would be appreciated. Planted plenty of seed in the past but cloning has been very experimental outdoors, thanks in advance ✌️

Getting your plants use to real UV, will be a bit tricky, just putting them out mid october into direct UV will burn them very quickly

Youll need to introduce them slowly, early morning sunshine is best as its sting isnt as harsh, then under sum shade cloth , about 30%, shade is all u need to cut some of the harmful rays

You could start the introduction now, on nice days, & just use the light from 5 pm to 9

Good luck

Yep cheers matanuska yeh I understand what you are saying but I'm looking to get them use to the light hours to grow through the outdoor season not to head indoors, but maybe 14hrs is too short and risky for them. Thank you to you nutter, handy input there yeh I was planning to do that just slowly ease em out into the real world and I always transplant I to the rainy times outdoors
