Soil mix

User ForgetIWasHere posted a mix  https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners.com/topic/76093-where-to-buy-steamed-bone-meal/?p=476841 where he said he'd had some success with but didn't post along with it the ratios they all go in which makes it a bit hard to try without straight up burning the plants in a hot mix.

 

The list of stuff to add in were:

 

1 Bag Cow manure | Might Equal 30 Litres

 

1 Bag Chicken manure | Might equal 10-20 Litres

 

2 Bags Organic compost | Might equal 60 Litres

 

1 Bag Worm castings | Might equal 10 Litres

 

1 Bag Pea straw | Enough to cover I the mix guess

 

 

It seems a very nitrogen rich mix.

 

 

 

So I have no idea on ratios and was wondering what others thoughts are on it.

Too hot for me ,

might need some aeration in there as well , 7mm scoria / Rice Hulls will work & are both pretty cheap 

Give FIWH a PM he's a cool guy , he'll help ya out with what he dose

I've shot him a message but seems he hasn't been on in a week so just waiting on a reply.

 

Aeration is key as I've found out in previous runs so those rice hulls are probably a good idea. Cheers Itchy.

yeah rice hulls are cool take a long time to break down = silica , but they will break down 

& although all the soil dwellers will aerate the soil you'll need more than just rice hulls 

scoria would also be a Mc Mansion for the benne's , they will make a pot a bit heavier though
