MOULD ON BUDS

Hi all, made the mistake of storing my buds in a sealed plastic bag for 3 wks, & it now got what looks like mould on it

 

Question is, is this OK s still to use to make some oil for medicinal use, does the heat destroy any of the mould ?, is there any way of still being able to use it ?

If it is just a bit and the buds are not completely rotten, try washing your buds in cool water until the mould is no longer visible under magnification...

OK, cold you water you say, never heard that but willing to try it

 

Someone said a jewelers loop is what you need to see how much of it there is

 

Anyone know if the heat would kill the mould ?

Not too cold, unless you are making bubble hash

 

Yes, a loupe is very important.

 

From what I have seen mould floats and thrichomes sink, but I have not done any thorough testing. There is a thread on here somewhere about it... GL finding it.....
