Thanks mum

I went and visited my mum last weekend and she said she bought me something. She went off and came back with a book called "marijuana horticulture the indoor/outdoor medical growers bible". It's the Jorge Cervantes book I've heard alot about but never actually seen. It's a pretty comprehensive book that covers nearly everything and it's convenient to have in one place and available offline. Thanks to this community I had seen it all before and wouldn't pay 30 bucks of my own moneys on it but I would recommend anyone interested to find a copy.

The thing was she goes "now you have to give me some of what you grow". She has fybromyalgia and doctors medicine isn't helping so I'm gonna try and help her out. She has never been a canna user so it should be interesting.

Thanks again mum.

grow some good and different kinds for her.. find that sweet spot of what she likes.

Hey Bazza,

I have to agree with Gumby. Don't forget the differing forms tho. Finding a form that gives your Mum the maximum benefit is a must. I use canna medically and I have found that for me differing forms have differing benefits. For example bud relaxes my mind, slows my thoughts so I'm not rushing at a million miles an hour, where hash is better for relaxing my body dissolving that built up tension. For me, oil is a good medium, does a bit of both.

Now, this is the benefit to me but it will be a bit of experimentation to find what is of most benefit to your Mum. My only other recommendation is to start small, for people who have never been into canna the initial effect can often be a little overwhelming ie paranoia, out of body sensation etc. But if your Mum is within a safe environment, when partaking, this can minimise some of the overwhelmingness.

Best of luck with it all and if we can help, then ask. I am always willing to assist another medi smoker in any way I can. I am not saying its the 'wonder drug' that some profess it to be, but it sure as hell has assisted me, even if the medical fraternity frown upon it.

Let us know if you find something for the fibromyalgia. The darling wife has been diagnosed with it aswell as chronic fatigue so I'd be interested in finding some strains that work for it.

Got to be happy with the book. Best thing I got from my mum was a clip around the ear :)
