Once in veg they could handle as close as your conditions allow, usual back of the hand test then another inch works well. Don't stress bleaching with a 250

The back of your hand is sensitive so is a good indicator how close you can push it. With good airflow running a 250 and cooltube you could almost have them touching the tube. 

There will always be some trial and error. Work towards a even canopy, have fun and good luck.

Similar size to what I run with a 250w cool tube. Check out my cupboard build and or grows in the links in my signature below... May help you out , I can almost have the colas touching the cool tube.

hi i now have a 120x120x200 tent and a six hundred watt light how high should i have the light as with the 250w the buds almost touched the cooltube and where fine not sure about the 600w any help would be great cheers
