Victoria becomes First Australian state to legalise the use of Medicin

Recommended Posts

That's never going to happen here, unfortunately.

...when I went back to Cali a year or so ago (man that went quickly) I wasn't a resident anymore so I would have had to jump through a few hoops to get a med card if I wanted one.  Googled 'cannabis doctors San Diego' and found one close...mum, (she has been a hairdresser for 55 yrs and her hands are mildly arthritic-still wont stop :/ )  she just went in gave them 40 bucks answered a few questions, was given a voucher for a near dispensary.  30-40mins max.   If there, why not here?  We are still treated as convicts here man no matter what any fool tells ya.  soz for the ramble but it reminded me of some good times lol

Aw yeh, I know, it's good over there. When I go to visit family I have a dispensary who looks after me without the permit. It's bloody beautiful!

I wish we could have the same thing here, but it seems like it not the way it will go. I reckon they'll make it really strict here, and only pharmacists will be able to dispense it.

This country frustrates me sometimes. Sigh.

This is good news to those who need it, i hope other people won't abuse it. I hope Victoria would be more strict in roadside drug testing in order to trace or filter those abusers and those who really need it for medical purpose. These could be alarming if they legalise it and abusers are out to go even doing drug driving.
