Custom nutrient mixes...Why use premix?

I wish I was in my twenties. Been a while since I was there.

If we all actually used the powders, which is cheaper and would last much longer. The nutrient companies would be out of business, if you know exactly how to mix the nutes, you're on another science level as you have some interesting compounds on your hands. I buy my nutrients, I sure wouldn't mind getting down with the powders and learning to mix them properly. But for now I will just buy bottles.

I barely have the space to store a few small bottles of premixed nutrients, let alone 20 - 25 kg bags of various dry formulations and my nutrient mixing space is limited to the top of the washing machine.

 

Mixing my own canna nutrients is not a practical option right now.

the top of the washing machine is my workspace as well. my wife hates it
