sup fam

final dry yield trimmed was a super surprising 245gms.  we had like 5 days of rain here in perth so the drying went very very slow and my friend didnt air them out enough whilst curing. so the lady actually got some mold!!! spewing...grrr. threw out about 25gms & still notice the odd specs. i hope thats okay & it doesn't spread or ruin it all.

ill put pics up when i can.  she smokes up super clean, 100% organic and a two week flush. earthy notes of cinammon off the Vape, and she smells strong of pineapple & diesel.

anyone else had issues with mold?

Hey teahaircut well done bro! Good result. As far as mould is concerned yeah i got it too. About an oz worth no biggie. Mine is all in jars curing now and I air them out twice a day for an hour and check them for any further mould. It helps to debone the buds too cause during the cure i noticed the first few days when i would open the jar the buds didnt necessarily feel wet but they were tacky and spongy and airing them out for an hour crisps up the outside and then i chuck them back in and keep doing it. Its very important first week especially to keep checking and tossing the buds from the bottom to the top etc. Enjoy the fruit mate :)

Good news, except for the mould, enjoy your harvest.  Looking forward to pics.

Yep, I've gotten mould during drying, same story, ongoing wet weather and lost a good chunk of top shelf bud.  What I usually do is hang mine in a box with holes punched all over it and a duct size hole in one end, and depending on humidity and other factors I will plug one of my inlet ducts into the box to drag fresh air through the drying zone, my fuck up was that I didn't think to plug it in for a couple of days while it was raining.  I reckon if I had of plugged it in straight away I would have avoided the mould as I have done it at other wet weather times without any issues.

I'd be going over the buds closely with a magnifying glass and chopping out any little patches, you don't want to breathe that shit in.

damn boys, wish i had your knowledge beforehand. To be honest, there is no way there would have been mold if i was in charge of the drying, stressed that part multiple rimes due weather.  Moved house and got a friend to sort it. grrrr. Wacked it through a dehydrator to crisp'n the nugs up a nit.

cheers lads

on to the indoor grow op for the first time ! excited and will keep yas updated.

peace
