Parliament passes medicinal cannabis laws

Recommended Posts

What truths of virtue has any politician spoken?  what of these words were actually implemented as spoken?  they are lying self-servers who are self-deceived into chasing vapour.  their hearts won't admit their condemnation.  No Confidence, in my eyes they are all misinformed or compromised.  You don't get far in the cesspool of political wank unless you have compromised yourself.  that's the fruit of that tree.

Get ready for the governments regressive taxes on cannabis.

Australia smokers generously pay this regime more than 8 BILLION dollars per year

despite the regimes claims that that its desire is only to help us and make us healthier its really only about lies, revenue and taxes

Smokers cost the health care system less less than 400 million per year  yet just 17% of the population are forced to pay the regime 8 Billion dollars per year. With 7.5 billion of it then just being spent wastefully on what ever.  I am not advertising smoking here, Its not the best habit to have but Australian smokers pay roughly 20 times what they actually cost the heath care system.

Tony Abbott was in opposition and claimed that these taxes were nothing but a hit to the hip pocket and a policy from a government that has lost control. What did he do when he became regime leader? He doubled the cigarette tax..

Those who would tell us how to live, back this Rubbish, not because they agree,  but because they are troubled by the worrying thought that someone, somewhere, may be having a good time.  Those havers of good times, smokers of Australia, How dare you.

Now you can bet the regime have a team of people dedicated to developing a regressive tax on cannabis that does nothing but hit the hip pockets of poor people who can less afford the tax.

They are not concerned about our health in any way.  They will look for a way to make billions from cannabis while giving the impression they have our best interest at heart..

Hitting smokers is a tried and true easy tax hike, and smokers need to tense their lungs cause there will be more.  The one I love is when they increase tariffs on alcohol, but stuff like bottled wine gets exempted, and beer is usually the hardest hit, a cynical person would tend to think there may be a link to the fact that many posh pollies are wine drinkers, luckily I'm not at all cynical :D.

At the moment I think their focus is more along the lines of profit opportunities for the fellow members of their boys club rather than taxing like ciggies, pretty much have to have a recreational market up and running to cash in on that one.  But I reckon sooner or later they'll see (with some help from the same members of the boys club) the immense cash cow that is the recreational cannabis market and legalise it, but only for purchase, not grow your own.  At which point they'll tax the shit out of it and wonder why the blackmarket continues on without batting an eyelid.  Just like they wonder why illegal tobacco is a growing market.

Your not the only one easily impaired by alcohol Stiritup, I drink so rarely it's beyond a joke, basically only when social convention dictates I absolutely must.  Last 2 times I drank, I drove home, a shot of JD with a middie of Extra Dry for a chaser, over an hour later I knew I shouldn't drive.  Last time was 1 mid strength beer, about the same.  But I know that when I was a seasoned drinker 0.05 was barely noticeable, so it's fair enough.

It won't be the cannabis you smoke like you said the pollies don't care about you they are a business like everything in this world. Sativex marinol cannasol all synthetic derivatives. Blaming Abbot for tax increase is a common problem Australians face not realising he is just a front man who get s blamed on everything bad until a new leader is blamed for shit he had no idea of. Ask yourself if pollies are for the Australian public voice why do we choose between different parties it's called divide and conquer with a little caos and confusion to divide the masses

i saw nothing in the act to suggest that raw flowers wont be allowed, or concentrates. i think at the moment the main focus is on tinctures, in the media at least. but i suspect that there will be allowance for raw flowers for people with terminal illness like Dan Haslam had.

really we will just have to wait and see what comes of this.

Guys lets get some positive energy happening here it on it's a goer for mine. Vic 2017 medical and then the only logical progression is full legalisation in my mind anyway, These pollies dont ask for reports and papers if they dont already know the answer, all they wanna know is who gets what and those that go now as in Vic will be ahead of the game, well, the game in Oz at least, 2020 will see a very different landscape, as Big Kev would say, i'm excited!!

Let the politicians divide their spoils and us enjoy legal weed sometime in the future, i dunno about you guys but i'm fine till they rubber stamp the final Act.

I also remember reading somewhere also that the UN will meet in March and the buzz is that they will ask all UN member nations to decriminalise all currently illegal drugs, for the life of me i cant find it again and it does sound like bullshit, who knows maybe these guys are starting to think they have bigger problems in the world.

What can you do in the meantime? GET SOME SEEDS GROW THEM LOVE THEM STAND UP FOR THEM THEY CANT LOCK US ALL UP AND MOST OF ALL KICK BACK ENJOY YOUR EFFORTS AND THINK IN AMAZEMENT AND WONDER HOW CLOSE WE REALLY ARE TO ENDING A 60 YEAR PROHIBITION!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!

I should also say that i suffer chronic pain and have had all manner of Morphine, baclofen, endep, Tramadol, Fentanyl patches, oxy contin, oxycodone and i may have missed some so in short i'm really pumped that the "weed" that makes me feel better is coming to a pharmacist near me. Dr already knows i use Cannabis for pain and ptsd
