brewing in the growroom to up co2

Hi all, second post now. I have 6 afghan kush indoors under 400w hps. Got them as well rooted and established clones about 2 weeks ago and while they are growing at a fast rate and looking healthy i wanted to give them more co2 to try and push them faster so i have decided to brew 30L of hard cider in my grow room. Am expecting around 8.5% alcohol so this means it ought to be alot of co2. Has anyone tried this before? Is there anything i should be aware of that i havn't thought of or could this be a good idea?

I tried it with a molasses wash. It fermented out so quickly that it would be very inefficient. I know I don't have the time to do a few washes a week over the course of a few months.

Well im 4 days into using my brew and it is still bubling well. Because i make corn whiskey 200L at a time and now is corn time i am able to have something fermenting all the time at the moment so this will help with this grow i guess but i see your point about having to change fairly often. Obviously wont be able to do this all year round but even if i can do my veg stage and maybe a little into flower it must surely help? Or are they likely to get dependant on the co2 rich environment. When i go in my grow room you can tell its high co2 by a feeling of inadequate oxygen when breathing so naturally i have to keep coming out for air. Guess its an experiment worth seeing through then comparing to a no added co2 grow. Just a shame i could only find kush clones not a nice white widdow or something a little more sativa dominant

grab a co2 meter and check. im guessing if your brewing 200l at a time then yeah thats gotta be producing a decent amount of co2.

Dont have access to one unfortunately. The brew thats in there now is only 30L but the plants apear to have responded very well and have grown greatly in the last 4 or so days. Whether or not thats to do with extra co2 i cant say for sure but growth has been very rapid
