Cacti... My other passion

So aside from our wonderful 'erb I have a real passion for rare cacti and other ethnobotanicals so I anticipate spending a bit of time in this forum, even if I am the only one posting . If anyone else shares my passion join me

Nah I've never tried it. I would probably do an extraction on a faster growing cacti.

 

Maybe I'll have a mung on it when I'm old or if I have a reason to celebrate something.

Living in an arid climate, I'd be mad not to have a few cacti on the go... 

 

Lophophora williamsii grafted on pereskiopsis - the pere hasn't had any leaves for a couple years now, I will de-graft this if I remember next summer.

 

Trichocereus Pachanoi 'Yowie' came into my possession as cuttings a couple years ago.  I put two in the ground last summer to see if they'd fare better than in pots...

Awesome, cheers for sharing. Yesterday I dug up a wheelbarrow load of neglected cacti that I had let the lawn devour, this thread has got me inspired to actually plant them this time
